POLICE are searching for a man who has gone missing from a bed and breakfast in Exmouth.
The man booked into the premises on July 12 and stayed for four days, but then did not return.
He left personal possessions behind, including his mobile phone and had paid for the accommodation in advance.
He is thought to be called Jack Morgan and spoke of coming from Gwent.
He is described as being 5ft 10 inches tall with a stocky build. He was wearing smart jeans and a shirt. He is clean shaven with short greying hair and was described as polite.
He has visited the area before and is believed to be fond of South Devon, particularly the Dartmouth and Teignmouth areas.
Police believe that he travelled by bus from Cockwood Bridge to Teignmouth on the late morning of Saturday, July 12 and then took a train journey from Dawlish to Starcross on the same afternoon.
On the following day it is believed he travelled from Exmouth to Exeter Central by train at about 9.30 in the morning.
His last known journey was on a Stagecoach bus using an explorer ticket which was bought at 8.45amon Monday, July 14.
He spoke of being in east and south Devon to visit memory lane.
Officers are asking Mr Morgan to get in touch in order that they know he is safe and well.
