Jazz train gets in motion

DUE to popular demand the Steve Tucker All Star Jazz Trains are back.

For the past five years the Steve Tucker jazz band have been playing on the Tarka line jazz train during the summer months, entertaining many hundreds of people on each journey.

These trips have always been in the summer months, however, the All Stars have arranged with the Fox and Hounds country hotel in Eggesford to continue this on the last Sunday of every month, starting on September 30.

This time the band won't be playing on the train but will be ready and waiting at the Fox and Hounds for a session of swinging jazz.

The Barnstaple train leaves at 12.41pm arriving at Eggesford at 1.08pm where the band start at 2pm till 5pm then the train leaves is at 5.15pm.
