The Westbound carriageway of the A30 has been closed near Okehampton this morning following a road traffic collision involving two lorries.
The collision took place at around 4.50am at the junction with the B33260.
One of the lorry drivers was reported to be trapped and the Fire and Ambulance Services attended the scene.
The injured driver - a 26-year-old man from out of the Force area - was released from his vehicle by the Fire Service and taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with leg injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road is currently closed and diversions have been put in place.
