A hairdressing and charity auction show turned out to be quite a do' for the guests who attended the evening at East Devon College, Tiverton, last week.
More than 70 people turned up to support Cancer Research UK in the Exe Valley Restaurant at the college.
Following on to a successful auction held at the college in 2006, the hairdressing and beauty therapy students organised another joint event to continue their support for the cancer charity.
As part of their final course qualification, the college's hairdressing students presented a catwalk' style hairdressing show, modelled by their many relatives and friends, some of whom had never modelled in front of an audience before.
College lecturers Lucy Joy and Alyson Higgs said: "This was a team effort and all students worked extremely hard to make the evening a success. Congratulations to all involved."
The beauty therapy students had spent many weeks planning and organising the auction that was run by local auctioneer Stafford Sampson, from Stags in Tiverton.
A variety of items went under the hammer including a brand new Dyson vacuum cleaner and a weekend break in a luxury lodge.
The event raised around £1,150
