Car severely damaged in fire in Tiverton
A CAR was severely damaged in a fire in Tiverton which also damaged guttering and fascias of a house.
Fire crews from Tiverton fire station were sent to Bluebell Avenue after receving multiple calls about a fire.
On arrival, the officer in charge confirmed one car was well alight.
The car was parked on a driveway and the fire was located in the engine compartment of the vehicle.
Fire crews wore breathing apparatus and used hose reels to extinguish the fire.
The fire was accidental.
