Elderly shoppers get stuck in lift

TWO elderly people had to be rescued from a lift in Exeter after it got stuck.

The Fire Service received a call from a member of staff reporting customers stuck in a faulty lift at Marks and Spencer in the High Street.

Fire crews released the two elderly customers from the third floor, uninjured, using small tools.
