A cloudy day is set for all of Mid Devon, with rain expected to come later in the week.

In their South West summary, the Met Office said: "After a cloudy start to the day, brighter skies will develop during the afternoon, with a little more sunshine for many than on Sunday.

"In the sunshine it should feel more pleasant, with light winds."

The maximum temperature is due to reach around 15°C, before falling to a minimum temperature of 3°C overnight.

In tomorrow's forecast, it said: "After a chilly start, it will be another fine and dry day, with variable cloud and sunny spells for many places. Cloud increasing overnight, with freshening winds."

The temperature is due to peak at around 15°C.

As for the rest of the week, the Met Office said: "Wet and windy on Wednesday morning, becoming dry and bright in between. Temperatures returning to normal, with milder nights than recently."

Rain is expected for Mid Devon on Wednesday.
