STAFF from the local NHS community health and social care team ran a stand at Credito Festival.
The stand – part of the festival’s ‘Care in the Community’ day – focused on the services provided by the team in people’s homes and those currently available at Crediton Hospital.
The team and hospital are managed by the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust.
Chris Cruise, service development manager, said: “The stand was very well received by the local community and provided an opportunity for the public to find out about the services available locally.
“People were able to speak to some of our community physiotherapists and occupational therapists and take part in simple exercises aimed at improving balance.”
The six-week festival is a celebration of local community groups and features a wide variety of events, including music, comedy, literature, food and sport.
