Police say they are keping an open mind after the discovery of a body at a home in Devon.
Police and Ambulance were called to an address on Ashleigh Close, Tamerton Foliot in Plymouth at around 9.15am on Tuesday May 5 following reports of a disturbance at the property.
Officers found a female who had died and a man who was injured, in a collapsed state.
He was treated at the scene and has since been taken to Derriford Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
A cordon was set up at the address whilst police continue their investigations.
Detective Inspector Ian Ringrose said: “We are currently undertaking house to house investigations to see if anyone noticed or heard anything suspicious. Currently we are not seeking anyone in connection with this incident; however we are keeping an open mind.”
