Police in Plymouth are appealing for witnesses following a robbery.
The incident occurred at around 5.40pm on Tuesday, November 18, in Shrewsbury Road, in the Whitleigh area of Plymouth.
The victim a lady in her early 80's was walking home when she was approached by a man.
He then stole her handbag pushing her and causing her to fall in order to do so.
The handbag contained a substantial amount of cash.
The lady was very shaken as a result of the incident but was not seriously injured having sustained cuts and bruises.
The offender is described as being a whit man, approximately 5' 8" to 5' 10" in height, slim build and wearing a dark hooded top and dark bottoms.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or anyone who has any information regarding the incident.
