EXETER Corn Exchange is hosting a Bhangra Extravaganza on Saturday, November 15.
The event organised in association with the Asian Arts Agency and Exeter Friends of Gujarat will feature RSVP a Bristol based who has appeared at Glastonbury, Womad and a host of other festivals around the world.
The band’s members have been drawn from one family and their performance fuses traditional Bhangra with rock, rap, folk, funk and reggae.
The evening will start with a Punjabi Thali meal and RSVP’s show will then come with an introduction to Bhangra dance aimed at getting everyone up on their feet.
Tickets are £22 including food and are available from the venue box office on 01392 665938.
No booking fees or postage is charged for telephone bookings. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.exeter.gov.uk/cornexchange
