Tom was rescued and taken by lifeboat to the harbour, before being taken by ambulance to Torbay District Hospital with a severe head injury, spinal and leg injuries.
He was later transferred to Derriford Hospital where he was pronounced deceased on the evening of Saturday, September 20, due to injuries sustained during the fall.
