Lord Mayor set to arrive in style on a tandem
THE Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Percy Prowse, is due to arrive in style for a charity coffee morning.....on a tandem.
On Saturday (9 August), the Lord Mayor will be cycling through Exeter’s High Street at 9:30am to the historic Guildhall with one of his Mace Sergeants, Steve Keane.
They will be making their way to the third coffee morning for the Lord Mayor’s chosen charity ELF (Exeter Leaukaemia Fund), which will be running from 10:00am until 2pm at the Guildhall.
Lord Mayor Cllr Percy Prowse, said: “Anyone who knows me will know how much I enjoy cycling, so this is a fantastic way to raise money for a very worthwhile charity and be green.”
