FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a horse that was stuck upside down in a cattle feeder.
Crews with a heavy rescue vehicle and a specialist rescue team were called to the incident in Culmstock at 9.05am today, Saturday, July 26.
Hydraulic cutting equipment was used to remove metal bars and the horse was sedated by a vet to reduce its stress levels.
The crews then removed a brick wall to free the animal, which was left in the care of a vet.
