Devon company Carmel Coaches has lost its licence over safety concerns, however the move is not linked to the company's involvement in the recent fatal crash near Looe.
The order to revoke the licence and licences held by two of its directors from the end of July was made Sarah Bell, traffic commissioner for the West of England, over serious bus defects going unrepaired alongside poor record keeping concerning safety issues over a number of years.
The decision does not relate to the crash on May 13, in which two Devon women died. The coach involved belonged to the firm.
