Police in Plymouth are appealing for witnesses to an assault in the city centre which left a 19-year-old local man with serious facial injuries.
The victim was walking from a club with two friends around 12.30am on Bank Holiday Monday when he was attacked outside Grosvenor Casino in Derry’s Cross.
He was pushed to the ground and kicked in the head, and was taken to Derriford Hospital having sustained a suspected fractured eye socket.
Police are now appealing for information about the assault and are particularly keen to trace four or five men who were seen running from the scene at the time of the offence.
Anyone who witnessed the assault or who has information about the incident is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference CR/076857/14.
