TWELVE people were evacuated from a three-storey property during a fire this evening (Monday, May 26).
Firefighters were called to the incident in St Peter Street, Tiverton, at 5.28pm after smoke was reported issuing from the roof space of two properties.
The fire then spread to adjoining properties before it was extinguished.
The cause is believed to have been accidental.
