Devon and Cornwall police officers will be helping out local primary schools at the annual tag rugby festival on Wednesday.
Between 10am and 5pm, Plymouth primary schools will be taking to the pitch at the annual tag rugby festival, at Marjons University.
Traditionally local police officers have always attended the tag rugby festival, as both referees and volunteers, to assist with the running of the event.
A spokesman said; "With so many primary schools getting involved, it is a great opportunity for children to meet police officers and PCSOs in a "relaxed and positive environment that promotes respect and understanding".
The day will culminate in semi final and final matches, with Chief Inspector Ian Drummond-Smith presenting awards to the winning teams.
