Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a serious assault in a Plymouth street.

The incident took place outside the city’s college of art and design in Charles Street at around 9pm on Tuesday, April 8.

The victim was punched and knocked to the floor in an unprovoked assault.

The 43-year-old victim received a serious cut to his cheek which required stitches.

The suspect (pictured below) is described as being in his late 20’s/early 30’s, 6ft-tall, of heavy build, with a slight beard and wearing a dark top with ‘EVERLAST’ logo across the front, blue jeans and a red flat cap.
