NOMINATIONS for this year’s NatWest Venus Awards will open at a launch party in Exeter on Monday night (28th April 2014).

The awards aim to celebrate and recognise the achievements of the county’s working women and entrepreneurs.

Devon’s first event was held last year and attracted almost 1,500 nominations. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before and will be launched at an evening ceremony at the city’s glamorous Amanda Marsden Lifestyle Salon.

Venus Awards Devon Regional Partner, Celia Delaney of SpeakingSuccess, paid tribute to on-the-night sponsors, city caterers Lloyds Kitchen who will be supplying the food: “Lloyds Kitchen are among a number of amazing sponsors who have chosen to support this year’s Venus Awards. All our sponsors recognise the importance of connecting with women in business and are using the Venus Awards to promote that concept.

We are delighted that once again we are to be the social event of the year for women in business and that these prestigious awards are here to recognise the diverse range of very successful women in Devon.”

Other sponsors of the Venus Awards Devon 2014 are: NatWest, Bishop Fleming, Leading Women UK, Heart FM, Sampson Hall, Exeter Chamber of Commerce, Stones Solicitors, Peninsular OneSource, the Western Morning News and Sandler Training.
