CALLING all dogs in East Devon. Why not give your owners a treat on Sunday April 27 and ‘lead’ them to a charity event specially designed around for people and pooches?
East Devon District Council is hosting another charity ‘Dogs' Day Out’ from 10am to 4pm. Pet owners and their canine companions can enjoy a huge range of free activities in aid of The Dogs' Trust.
Free micro chipping, a fun dog show, agility displays, a tombola and free giveaways are all on offer as EDDC promotes responsible dog ownership in a fun, friendly way.
Over 10 stalls will feature merchandise, free goodies and a range of information from different groups, advising on dog health and wellbeing, behavioural problems, preventing dog barking complaints and identifying dogs to prevent straying. Among those giving advice will be the council’s Dog Warden and Environmental Health team.
All proceeds from the event in Phear Park, Exmouth, will be donated to The Dogs' Trust.
If you’re free on 27 April, you’d be barking not to go along!
