Exeter city centre bank robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses to a bank robbery in Exeter city centre on Monday 24 March.
Officers were called at 1.10pm after a man entered NatWest Bank on the High Street and demanded money from a cashier.
He claimed he was armed, although no weapon was seen, and he left the bank with a substantial amount of cash in a Sainsbury's carrier bag.
A number of police units, including dog handlers, were despatched to search for the suspect.
He is described as white, of medium build, in his late 40s, clean shaven, with medium-length black hair.
The male cashier was shaken but otherwise unharmed.
Detective Inspector Kevin Till, Exeter CID, said: “We are following up a number of lines of enquiry and urge anyone with information about the robbery to come forward.”
