A WOMAN had to be removed from a car which had ended up in a hedge in Tiverton today (March 16).
Fire Control sent two fire teams from Tiverton and the Heavy Rescue Tender from Middlemoor to the scene at Withleigh at 4pm.
A fire service spokesman said: "The car was precariously positioned within hedge. Crews immediately set about stabilising the vehicle with one person still trapped within, uninjured.
"The Heavy Rescue Tender was no longer required to attend.
"Crews used one winch and small tools were to make the vehicle safe. The female driver was removed unharmed from the vehicle. "
