PEOPLE in Tiverton can expect changes to their postal service after Royal Mail announced that it is to adopt a revised delivery route.
It has written to every address in the town about the changes, including households, businesses and other organisations.
Many people in Tiverton will continue to receive their mail by lunchtime, but Royal Mail said delivery times will depend on where people live on the new delivery route.
A statement said: “Fewer letters are now posted every day and Royal Mail needs to organise its delivery routes to be as efficient as possible.
“We also deliver more larger items, so we’re investing in new equipment to carry these items to customers even more securely.
If customers have any queries after they have received a letter they can call the Royal Mail Customer Services Team on 0845-6011399.
Deaf and hard of hearing customers can use the textphone number 0845-6000606.
