BUSINESS leaders in Mid Devon will be given the chance to find out more about sponsoring the Mid Devon Show at a business breakfast at the Best Western Tiverton Hotel on March 7.

Information about ‘Corporate Social Responsibil-ity’ and how it ties in with the show’s Sponsors’ Partner-ship Programme will be provided on the day.

Neil Parish MP, who is also president of the 2015 Mid Devon Show, will be giving the keynote speech.

Rhys and Claire Roberts, owners of the Tiverton Hotel in Blundell’s Road, have kindly offered the use of their Crystal Suite, and it is hoped other businesses like them will see the many benefits, including tax benefits, of working in partnership with the show by becoming sponsors.

Business leaders will also have the opportunity to network over breakfast.

Mr Parish said: “I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to speak at the Mid Devon Show’s Busi-ness Breakfast.

“A business’s res-ponsibilities don’t end with the customer and its emp-loyees.

“There’s also an expectation that successful businesses have a wider obligation to the environment and communities affec-ted by its activities.

“This is particularly true in Devon, where we’re bles-sed with a beautiful and unique landscape that is often under threat.”

Show director and Business Break-fast chair Rose Cha-nin said: “The Mid Devon Show is a unique agricultural event committed to promoting education and awareness in agriculture.

“It also promotes businesses and supports local communities as part of our own Corporate Soc-ial Responsibility.”
