Police, HM Coastguard and bomb disposal experts have dealt with a suspected unexploded ordnance device at Mount Batten Point, Turnchapel, Plymouth.
The device was found on the beach at around 2.15pm yesterday, Tuesday, February 18, and reported to police.
The beach at Mount Batten was closed to the public while the device was examined.
The ordnance has now been removed by experts for disposal.
