THREE high achievers from Mid Devon have their sights on Oxford and Cambridge after receiving offers from the prestigious universities.
The three bright sparks, who attend Richard Huish College in Taunton, are all now working towards securing places at the two establishments.
Harry Sargent, from Sampford Peverell, near Tiverton, has received an offer to read Engineering Science at Lincoln College - while Kim Wright, also from Sampford Peverell, has had an offer to read French and Italian at Balliol College.
James Borne, from Willand, near Cullompton, who is currently on a gap year, will read Physics.
and Berry Bertschinger, from Montacute, has been offered a place at the Royal Welsh College of Music.
Acting Richard Huish Principal John Abbott says: “We are extremely proud of what these students have achieved and are understandably proud of all of our students. Their success is down to their own hard work and the way Huish assists students to achieve beyond what they might expect.”
