A PASTOR who travelled to the Philippines to help in the clear-up following Typhoon Haiyan will give a talk at King Street Chapel in Tiverton on Saturday night.

Peter Jenkins will speak about his fundraising and plans at 6.30pm. Entry is free and donations for the food will go to the Philippines appeal.

Star newspaper advertising sales manager Sharon Mitchell last month raised £1,323 through a charity dinner hosted by the Golden Panda in Tiverton and donations from local church members.
