A LARGE portion of a cob wall has collapsed onto the pavement in High Street, Cullompton, this evening, Sunday, January 19.
Emergency services were called to the scene at a derelict building 8.42pm.
A substantial cordon was set up and a local authority building surveyor called out to assess the safety of the premises.
Firefighters who attended handed control of the situation to the police.
