BUCKET collections at two Tiverton supermarkets last weekend have raised £675 for the MS Society.
The collections at Tiverton’s Morrison’s store on Friday, January 3, and at Tesco on Saturday, January 4, were carried out by Richard and Chris Salter – with help from Anna Sturtivant and Chelsea Pearce.
Richard and Chris have set themselves the target of raising £8,000 for the Exeter and East Devon Branch of the MS Society – which includes the Tiverton MS Support group – by this summer as their mum Helen Salter suffers from the disease.
Their fundraising efforts will culminate in both climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world.
So far they have raised just over £5,700. To help them reach their target you can donate online at www.just giving.com/teams/RichandChris
