TIVERTON and Honiton Constituency Labour Party has appointed Caroline Kolek (pictured) as its parliamentary spokesperson.

She has lived in the Honiton area for more than 20 years. She is a teacher and school governor and says she is passionate about education.

She considers affordable housing, living standards, rural poverty, access to health and social care and the environment key issues for the Labour Party constituency chairman Michael Teare said: “We are delighted to have Caroline as our parliamentary spokesperson.

“She lives in the constituency with her family and understands the concerns of local people in these difficult times.”
