POLICE and fire teams attended a road accident which saw a car end up in a hedge on the A38 Wrangaton, near Ivybridge, this morning (January 4).
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service received a call from police requesting assistance at the crash at around 1am.
One fire crew from Buckfastleigh, one from Ivybridge and one from Ashburton were sent to the incident.
A fire service spokesman said: "On arrival, crews found this to be a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle, which had left the highway and gone through a hedge.
"All persons were free and clear of the vehicle. Crews made the vehicle safe and assisted paramedics with the casualty.
"Duty of care was left with the police."
