Police in South Molton, Devon are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 15-year-old boy who has not been seen for over a month.

Police need help in locating Reuben Musgrave who was last seen outside Barnstaple police station at about 7.30pm on May 10 where he walked off from his foster carer.

The missing teenager made several calls to family members after he initially went missing indicating he was well. However on June 6 he told his family he was in London and was planning on staying there with friends.

Reuben had only recently moved to South Molton. He has friends in Bideford and possibly in the Peckham area of South London. He is also known to visit Appledore and Exeter.

Reuben is described as black, 5ft 8, of slim build with short black afro hair.

When he was last seen on May 10 he was wearing a bright yellow t-shirt and may have also had a grey hoody, a black and grey jacket and white and red trainers.

A police spokesman said: “Reuben is only 15 years and is therefore vulnerable and potentially at risk of harm. He has been missing for some time and his family are worried that he is no longer in contact.

“We are appealing to Reuben to make contact with the police or his family, and also to anyone who may know of his whereabouts to contact the police so we can make sure he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting CS/13/178 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
