Blackdown furniture maker donates World War One relic

FURNITURE maker Penny Price, of the Blackdown Hills, is donating a souvenir programme of the procession carrying nursing heroine Edith Cavell’s remains from Dover to Norwich.

The piece of World War One history was discovered 13 years ago and belonged to her husband Peter’s grandfather, Frederick Blomfield.
