Preparation work on new Crediton link road due to begin on March 4

PREPARATION works for the new Crediton link road will start on March 4 ahead of construction this summer.
This will involve advance site clearance and the removal of some trees and hedgerows.
Devon County Council unanimously granted planning permission to the scheme back in January 2012.
The proposed £7.75 million link road provides a direct 760-metre single carriageway link from Wellpark roundabout on the A377, over Downes Head, and into Marsh Lane within the Lords Meadow Industrial Estate.
