Wet weather warning in place for Devon

A yellow alert is iin place for Torbay and South Devon with heavy rain forecast to spread across South West England today and over night.
The warning is due to bump up a notch to amber on Tuesday, with a spokesman saying that rain will become heavy and persistent in places before clearing again overnight.
He added: "Given saturated ground, the public should be prepared for further localised flooding and disruption to travel.
