Concern for missing Brixham woman
12:00pm Tuesday 22nd January 2013 in News
Police are concerned about the welfare of a woman missing from the Brixham area since Monday morning, January 21.
Sally Gould, aged 25 years old went missing from her home address in Brixham at approximately 8.45am.
She was last seen in King Street possibly heading towards the town or coast path. The public may have been seen sally wearing her cream coloured pyjamas at that time but she may have changed into grey tracksuit bottoms, grey hooded top, plimsolls and will be carrying a grey duffle bag.
Sergeant Mark Ruston, said, "We are extremely concerned about Sally’s welfare. At this time we cannot ascertain if Sally has found somewhere warm to seek shelter or if she has come to some harm.
“She has previously sheltered in shop doorways but has also displayed some concerning behaviour in the past which may suggest that she is at risk to herself.
"We have worked very closely with Brixham Coastguard, with their foot teams having searched the coastline with assistance from the Torbay All Weather Lifeboat and Inshore Rescue Boat. In addition to this officers have been searching some of the woodland adjacent to the coast path”.
If anyone thinks they may have seen Sally, or know of her current whereabouts, should call Devon and Cornwall Police on 101 and quote incident reference 0577 21/01/13.
