A39 re-opens after snow is cleared
PART of the A39 in Devon has reopened after being closed due to heavy snow.
Contractors managed to break through snowdrifts, clearing one lane of the road from Lynton to County Gate, at Devon's border with Somerset.
The county council’s Gritters were out overnight as temperatures dropped to -2C (28F) in some areas.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of ice for the South West. For more information click here.
