FIVE candidates will be considered for the post of chief constable with the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary.
A panel including newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Hogg, and Cornwall County Council chief executive Kevin Lavery, will interview the unnamed applicants at police HQ next Tuesday, January 15.
Former chief constable Stephen Otter stepped down from the role in January, 2012, to take up a post with Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary.
