THIS mobility scooter could get a company from Taunton into the Guinness Book of Records.
Bosses at the maker Orchard Mobility believe it is probably the longest stretch mobility scooter in the world.
It was measured up at 2m 90 cm by surveyor Roger House at an event at Somerset College.
Anwar Watson, of Orchard Mobility, said: “It was commissioned as a bit of fun by someone from Ilminster whose boss was retiring.
“We now get requests for it to be used at weddings, proms and other events.
“We supply the driver and there are two seats for passengers.”
The Guinness Book of Records told Mr Watson they did not currently have an entry for the longest mobility scooter and he is now submitting details of his unusual mode of transport.
