TAUNTON Deane Mayor Cllr Terry Hall and the Mayoress, his wife, Ann, have been along to the Samaritans offices.
They met director Ian Hawkins to find out more about the charity’s ‘The Call to Action for Suicide Prevention’ campaign.
Under the initiative The Samaritans are appealing for a co-ordinated approach from various organisations to better support people at risk of taking their own lives.
