A march to support of five Royal Marines charged with murder over an incident in Afghanistan last year has taken place in Plymouth.

Former marines were among those marching in Plymouth to "show support".

The unnamed Royal Marines have been released and are back with their unit.

"Show support" events have taken place accross the UK, including Edinburgh, Plymouth, Swansea, Norwich and London.

The five marines have been charged with the murder of an unknown Afghan national following an incident during Plymouth-based 3 Commando Brigade fourth tour of duty in Afghanistan.

The arrests followed video footage being found on a laptop by civilian police in the UK.
