Cottage beam fire

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a beam on fire at a cottage in Holcombe Rogus this morning (Sunday).
Crews from Cullompton and Wellington attended the incident at 8am.
On arrival crews found that a beam above a fireplace was well alight and extinguished the fire using one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera, chimney gear and small tools.
