SEVERAL people were injured after a lorry and a minibus were in collision on the A30 Westbound at the Merrymeet junction to Drews Cottage this morning (Saturday).
One appliance from Chagford, two appliances from Exeter and the Rescue equipment vehicle from Exmouth attended.
Crews used small tools to release two female casualties and one other was released using hydraulic rescue equipment.
All casualties were taken to hospital by the ambulance.
Fire crews used hydraulic rescue equipment, small tools, one hose reel and oxygen therapy at the incident. They made the vehicles and the area safe before leaving the incident.
A TIVERTON councillor this week called for an end to the parking “chaos” which she says is blighting large areas of the town.
POLICE in Exeter are appealing for witnesses after a “smash and grab” at a jeweller’s shop in the city.
