Prowler warning in Budleigh Salterton
POLICE are warning people in Budleigh Salterton to watch out for a suspected prowler who was seen walking through the gardens of properties in the area of Fountain Hill last night at around 9.30pm.
A man matching his description has also approached a homeowner in the area asking if they needed their gravel to be cleaned.
The man is described as being in his early 20s, with short dark hair. He was wearing a black jacket with horizontal grey stripes.
Police are advising residents to please take extra care when securing properties, ensuring outer buildings are locked and that security lights and security cameras are turned on.
Police would advise people in the area to refuse any work to be done on their houses by cold caller
