THOUSANDS of darts fans filled the Westpoint Arena last week for a packed bill of Premier League action between the top eight professionals from across the country.
James Wade and Kevin Painter kicked off the action with Wade picking up his first win in the competition.
The atmosphere was then cranked up a notch to see Dutch thrower Raymond van Barneveld claim an exciting 8-6 win against Andy Hamilton of Stoke-on-Trent.
Phil Taylor made it a record-breaking night as he threw a monumental 117 average to beat Simon Whitlock eight-four before Gary Anderson, from Scotland, wiped out world champion Adrian Lewis.
