THE Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group are inviting horse owners from Devon to attend an event entitled Managing your horse at grass' at Bowhayes Farm, Culmstock, on Thursday, March 27.
The full day event will cover all aspects of managing land to improve it for both horse and wildlife.
It takes place at Lucinda McAlpine's centre and will feature speakers including Jane McGuiness, lecturer in animal care at Bridgwater College's Cannington centre, Charlotte Thomas, farm conservation adviser with FWAG, Carmel Wilkinson, project co-ordinator for the Blackdown Hills AONB, and Jo Oborn, environmental agronomist.
Also speaking is owner Lucinda McAlpine, international dressage rider and one of the country's leading experts in the development and use of complementary and alternative therapies for horses.
After lunch a walk around the centre will be a chance for discussion and questions. This event is free and places will be limited, so booking is essential.
