Police are appealing for information following a sexual assault in the Mutley area of Plymouth.

On Sunday 28 October 2007 a woman was assaulted as she walked along Houndiscombe Road, Plymouth.

The woman had been walking with her friend along the street when they were approached by a man who kept asking the women where they were going. The women went into a house before one of them left to return to her own home. As she headed towards home the man returned and grabbed her. The woman pushed and shouted and the offender walked off towards North Hill.

The suspect is described as a black man, aged 30 to 35, with a medium build and between 5'6 and 5'8 tall. He has very short shaved black hair and was wearing casual clothes, possibly a grey top. He spoke with a slight accent, which may have been South African.
